Google Nexus 7 was updated to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean last week. I was so excited to welcome this release since it is mean that Nexus 7 will become the second tablet that running on such OS, after Nexus 10 officially released few weeks ago.
However, as soon as i finish the update process, i start to feel that there’s a serious declining in my tablet’s performance. This is not only happen when i access or launch specific performance, but it plague my Nexus 7 all the time. My tablet become extremely laggy while opening the app drawer, launch apps, scroll through browser, and even simple task like unlocking device! Tutorial to fix Nexus 7 lag on Android 4.2
1. Open app drawer
2. Launch Google Current
3. You should see three dots on the top right corner. Tap on it and select Settings
4. Remove check mark from the ‘Enable Background Sync’ option
5. Reboot your Nexus 7
Done! You should feel an immediate effect after applying this tutorial guys. I don’t know about you, but this method is successfully remove the lag from my Nexus 7 after Android 4.2 update.
