I’ve already told you yesterday that RIM was finally announce the arrival of BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE. Canada will be the first country in this world to start market this tablet on August 9th. I’ve told you yesterday that i have no idea how much RIM will ask for this device, but now i’m able to give the answer to that question. Thanks to the leaked PlayBook 4G LTE pricing.
Bell, Rogers, and Telus are three local carriers that will pick BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE as part of their tablet lineup. In order to fully owned this tablet, you’ve got to pay $550 for them. But if you’re a great fan of Rogers, i’ve got some more details for you.
Rogers will ask $349.99 and three years contract for the tablet. If you’re looking for shorter contract agreement, you can sign on two years deals for $449.99. The shortest contract, one year, will cost you $499.99. RIM also reported to give specific instruction to all Canada carriers not to put the BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE on their display until the release date on August 9th.
