Some of you might recognize Casio as one of the best watchmaker in the world. That is why i am quite surprised when they decide to expand their business by releasing Casio VX tablet back on March. I have no idea if they manage to create some fortune with those product, but Casio is recently announce three new Android 4.0 tablet to expand their current device lineup. All of them are designed for business purpose and resistant to water, shock and splash. Ready to meet their four IPS54 devices? Here we go guys.
Casio’s fab four Android tablets are V-N500, N500J, T500 WJ, and T500 J. I know that none of them feature appealing name, but that shouln’t be a big problem if your main target are enterprise users. All of those tablets feature similar hardware specs. They are powered by OMAP 4460 dual-core CPU that clocked at 1.5GHz. Casio also pack them with 10.1″ touch screen. Other interesting details that you might want to know are the presence of 5.0MP rear shutter with LED flashlight, 720p video recording, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal data storage, and 4G LTE support from NTT DoCoMo.
While V0N500J’s battery unit is able to provide 12 hours of lifetime, T500J only able to survive for 10 hours. Both of them support for NFC connectivity, so you should be able to transfer your date from one device to another. They are also packed with microSD card slot for data expansion purpose.
That is all i can tell you right now. There is no information about pricing or whether these tablets will make it’s way outside Japan. But i will tell you when i figure out something.
