New iPad is finally ready to continue it’s journey to other market. Well, at least from what i heard lately. According to my trusted sources, the Cupertino based company is said to be successfully clear all the obstacle that prevent them from marketing their latest flagship tablet in the country. After few months of trial, Apple is finally agree to pay $60 million to local company known as Proview to claim the “iPad” brand name. I must say that it is a pretty cheap price for a product that has been sold for more than 9 million units around the planet. However, i’ll leave all the details to Apple’s lawyer.
So, since the legal issue has been take care now, it’s just a matter of weeks before the New iPad is finally available for purchase in China. There’s no exact release date announced yet, but according to MyDrivers, it should hit local stores in June 27th. It is said that Apple will tag the new tablet with similar price to iPad 2. This is mean that Apple still keep their pricing tactics intact, just like they already did in US and other market around the world.
The New iPad that will be sold in June 27th will only support for WiFi connectivity. I don’t have any idea if Apple will prepare a new speficic edition of New iPad to accommodate China’s network connectivity. However, there’s a great chance for that to happen since Apple is also have clearance from local authorities to create and market such product.
Oh my, Apple is now getting ready to continue New iPad expansion to China, while Google is struggling to clear the patent infringement issue that suffer Galaxy Nexus. Not to mention that they still haven’t release Nexus 7 yet. If Google is indeed intend to claim more market share this year, they better be hurry. Because the real race is about to begin now! What do you think about this guys?
