Reliance CDMA Tablet is India‘s first tablet PC that work under CDMA Internet network and it was officially launched yesterday. Seven months ago, the company was already announce it’s first 3G tablet for local market.
Reliance CDMA Tablet is currently priced at Rs 12,999. Users should be able to take advantage from the company’s high speed CDMA network that already cover up to 1,000 towns in India. According to company’s statement, it will be more than enough to provide users with 3MBps download speed.
Rakesh Singh, the Hube Head, Wireless Business, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Reliance Communication said that he is proud with the fact that Reliance is the first company that offer both 3G and CDMA tablet in India. This will claims company’s leadership in the tablet market tablet, he added.
Reliance CDMA Tablet is currently run on Android OS. When it comes to display, this tablet has 7.0 inch screen. Deep inside, you’ll be able to find 512MB RAM and a microSD card slot that can read up to 32GB memory card. On the back side, lies a 2.0 megapixels primary camera unit. All of these features should make Reliance CDMA Tablet a perfect device for professional and youth customers.
Sadly, we haven’t receive any information about what version of Android OS that will be used on this tablet. But we believe that Reliance CDMA Tablet will do well in the local market. According to Singh, there’s lot of demand for sub Rs 20,000 tablet PC in India. Reliance CDMA Tablet would be a great answer for that.
