Apple iPad is still declared as the best-selling tablet in the world. Off course there’s lot of other manufacturers like LG, Motorola, HTC, Samsung, Asus, and Acer that already build their own tablet PC (most of them run on Android OS). Unfortunately, none of those company has manage to overshadowed the others, in terms of sales. Is it true?
Xu Youjia, the global vice president of Asus, has spoke to China Time and noted that the company is determined to become the world brand for non-Apple tablets. As you might already know, the Asus Transformer series are known as the most powerful Android tablet by far and they’ve been chosen by Google to make the first Nexus tablet.
Youjia also said that he are quite sure that there will be no other competitors that interested to release another tablet to imitate Asus’. That’s because all of company’s products are currently protected with lot of patents. Well, seems like things will get quite difficult for Lenovo in the future. The Chinese company is recently introduce IdeaPad S2 in MWC 2012. A Tegra 3 tablet that include additional keyboard dock, just like Transformer Prime tablet.
Up until now, Asus posses four different tablet PC at their inventory. The latest member of Transformers tablet family is the new Transformer Prime Infinity 700. It is currently run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and packed with 10.1 inch screen with full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution display.
