Adobe is recently released the Photoshop touch app for iPad. The express version of the software is now available for download, but please note that it is only contain some basic function, which is extremely simpler compared to the desktop version. Previously, the Photoshop Touch was available for Android platform. It is said that the iPad version will be priced at £4.99/$9.99. However, the apps is only compatible with iPad 2 and won’t work with older version of iPad.
When the full version finally arrived, it will carry on many more features than the express version. Users should be able to work in layers, take advantage from numbers of selection tools and remove some unwanted parts on an image. In addition, Photoshop Touch will also let users to touch the images, paint ‘em and create new layouts.
David Wadhwani, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Digital Media Business Unit for Adobe said that Photohop Touch combine the magic that previously exist in the older Photoshop with the convenience of a tablet.
Start from Monday, February 27, the Photoshop Touch for iPad 2 will be available for purchase over App Store. In order to run the apps perfectly, the tablet must work under iOS 5.
