According to an anonymous source that has sufficient knowledge of this matter, Vizio will come out with Medfield-powered Android tablet soon. Medfield is the latest Atom chip that currently developed by Intel. It is said that this chip currently optimized for high speed Internet access and apps launch on android based devices.

Vizio’s tablet will be named as M-Series and feature 10 inch screen size. This report also suggest that Vizio will announce this tablet at CES 2012 in Vegas. If you navigate to the company’s official website, there’s an announcement about “coming soon” device and this could be the indication of this new tablet.

There’s no detailed specs revealed yet. Vizio only give press a little hint that it will be a powerful device with WiFi Internet connection. According to their official website, this tablet will be able to provide “world entertainment in your fingertips”.

Vizio is well known for their TV unit product. Now, the company trying to expand their business by producing tablet PC and laptops. Another rumors also said that Vizio will reveal a Windows 8 tablet at CES 2012.
