Even though the Amazon’s Appstore is full of interesting apps, it is still an unfortunate for the Amazon’s Kindle Fire to only have the Amazon’s Appstore as its official app store. Yes, as you might have already known, since the Kindle Fire is produced by Amazon, it has a strong bond with Amazon, making it has no bond with other third party companies, including the famous Android Market. Well, in this case, the Nook app is also included to the app that is not available in the Amazon’s Appstore. However, those who have switched from Nook Color to Kindle Fire, you do not have to worry about your Nook books, since there is a way to reclaim your Nook books. Here are the steps to download the Nook app to your Kindle Fire:
- Turn on the “Allow Installation of Applications” setting from the Settings menu on your Kindle Fire.
- Go to m.getjar.com. FYI, m.getjar.com is one of the best places to get third party apps, including the Nook app. Here you need to search for “Nook” from the search engine of the m.getjar.com. After you find the Nook app, you only need to download it.
- After the download completes, you need to install the Nook app to your Kindle Fire.
- After the installation process has finished, find the Nook app in your Kindle Fire’s library and search for “Nook” again then tap “download”. After you passed the app’s permission, tap “install”. There it is, the Nook app is already available in your Kindle Fire’s library
As an addition, you can always do the similar processes if you find something interesting at the m.getjar.com. There are plenty of interesting apps to download there.
