Releasing the Google TV-powered Logitech Revue may be one of the biggest mistakes that Logitech has ever made. It is because the Google TV service in the Logitech Revue is not as effective as it was hoped. However, it seems that Logitech still does not want to abandon its customers who have bought the Logitech Revue. This is proved by the Android 3.1 Honeycomb update that has rolled out since several days ago. There are some improvements coming with the update, such as a simplified user interface and many other improvements. However, the biggest improvement coming with the update is of course the access to the Android Market.

With the access to the Android Market, now the Logitech Revue users are able to fill the Logitech Revue with  many apps from the Android Market. So, they will be able to try some apps designed for HDTVs, which can be something amazing. The update will be installed automatically as long as the Logitach Revue is connected to the internet, so the users of the Logitech Revue will most probably not miss it.
